A large statement painting inspired by the deep waters of the carrick roads, part of the  River Fal estuary. This is one of the deepest natural harbours in the world and even far up the river from the sea large ships can anchor. Deep water can be a metaphor for taking time to be still and letting ideas and dreams have time to rise to the surface. Hopefully this piece inspires this feeling of contemplation and peace within the viewer.
