This painting is inspired by the healing energy of being by the sea. The colour palette was influenced by a painting (thangka) I have of a Medicine Buddha and there is collage paper made with sacred geometry stencils and prints from seaweed from my local beach. There are many layers to this painting adding to the texture which is hard to capture on screen.
