This painting was initially started on a washing line during Storm Arwen in December 2020. Luckily in Cornwall it was not as wild as other parts of the country and I used the wind to move ink around on the paper to get some interesting results, including catching the paper as it flew off the line.
Then, when I worked back into these first marks in my warm and cosy studio and a wild sea appeared as if by magic.
